We have asked the following esteemed professionals to serve on the Advisory Board for Victus Health and help to us to best support nutrition in health care, and further the practice of individualized (patient-specific) diet and nutrition strategies for the prevention and healing of chronic health conditions. Our Advisory Board members share a passion for nutrition research, genomics and individualized nutrition, evidence-based medicine, nutrition science, and an integrative approach to health and wellness.

 

Clinical Nutritionist

Anne Criner

B. Hth Sc (Comp Med) Adv. Dip Nut, Adv Dip Nat, Adv Dip Herbal Medicine
Anne has been working in the health industry for over 30 years as a Clinical Nutritionist, Naturopath and Herbalist. She has lectured for ACNEM and in Nutritional Therapies to second year medical students at Griffith University.
She trained as a physiotherapist in the USA, and furthered her studies in Australia in Nutritional Medicine and Remedial Therapies. Her passion for natural health care was inspired by her children whose food and chemical sensitivities were challenging to manage with the medical treatments at that time.

 

Nutrigenomics Practitioner

Dr. Heather Way

Heather holds a PhD in Molecular Pathology and is an expert in the field of nutrigenomics. Nutrigenomics enables genetic predispositions to disease to be understood and managed via epigenetics and nutrition. Dr Way is also a certified GAPs nutritionist, who specializes in helping people with gut issues, particularly children with ASD, ADHD, fussy eaters and multiple food intolerances. Dr Way has a clinic in Brisbane, Australia, where she develops personalized nutrition programs tailored according to the results of DNA profiling.

Leanne Scott

With over 20 years as a health professional and 30 years experience with food intolerances, Leanne received her training from the Nutritional Therapy Association and Institute of Integrative Nutrition where she was trained in understanding the underlying causes of food sensitivities and depleted health as well as studying a variety of practical lifestyle coaching methods to support clients in transitioning their lives towards better health. Drawing on this knowledge, Leanne helps her clients to create a completely personalized “roadmap to health” that suits each individual’s unique body, lifestyle, preferences, and goals.

Dr Richard Sager

Dr Richard Sager has an extensive history with food and nutrition and is the founder of Darwin Dietitians. He originally trained as a Chef before studying to become a Dietitian. He now combines these skills to provide clients with very tasty menu options when tailoring their personal meal plan. Prior to moving to Darwin, Richard has worked in two of Australia’s leading health retreats, sharing his insights and concepts that some described as “life changing”.
His work at Darwin Dietitians includes seeing clients in one-on-one, holistic consultations where he will consider your eating and activity patterns. Richard is the “why and what for” of nutrition and he is passionate about all areas of nutrition particularly the management of chronic diseases to improve the health and quality of life in patients.
